Matt Shore at Base Camp

Matt and team have arrived at the Aconcagua Base Camp and sent an update to the JPK Project –

“Hello from Base Camp Jill!

We trekked 6.5 hours yesterday and established camp. Rest day today and much needed. Acclimatising well. Tomorrow push on for a food and equipment drop to camp 1 at 5050m. We will then descend to BC before moving up to camp 1 proper on Saturday.” (Thursday 11th January 2018).




Matt Shore & Team at Expedition Centre

Matt Shore and team have safely in the Argentinian city of Mendoza for their Aconcagua Expedition and posted an update of their progress as they prepare for the climb and raise money for the JPK Project.

“Hi Jill – We are at Penitentes and start trekking today! At altitude 2200m and heading up to 3400m today to Confuencia, then off to base camp tomorrow – plasa we mulas.”
