Eastbourne Local Lottery

We’ve already had a couple of winners! Two JPK Project supporters who have bought Eastbourne Local Lottery tickets over the past month have already matched numbers.

Time to try your luck? Go to the Eastbourne Local Lottery here – this is a direct link to the JPK section – and buy tickets.

It’s a great lottery that helps local causes with 60% of the ticket price going to your chosen charity. Tickets are just £1 a week and there’s a 1 in 50 chance of winning with every ticket.

Good luck.

Lifetime Achievement Award Jill Parker, MBE

Chair & Founder of the JPK Project, Jill Parker, MBE, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Women in Business Awards this month.

Jill is pictured accepting the award, with some surprise, from the Award sponsor, Ashley Pugh of Brufords.

In a short address to the event guests, Jill said “I am very honoured to accept the award on behalf of the JPK Project and all those that have helped and supported us. Without this support nothing would have been achieved. This is also especially for those with a learning disability who were my inspiration. Thank you for helping us to help those people who, through no fault of their own, cannot help themselves.”

Willingdon & Jevington Parish Council Support for the JPK Project

The JPK Project accepted a cheque for over £600 from Willingdon & Jevington Parish Council this week.

The presentation was made at the Parish Council’s full council meeting. It followed an application last year by the JPK Project for a grant towards the cost of uniforms for future training students at the JPK Community Centre.

According to Jill Parker, MBE, “We are extremely grateful to Willingdon & Jevington Parish Council for their generous and invaluable continuing support.”
