Maureen and John Males, along with Nicki Powell, have raised more than £1,100 for the JPK Project.
They hosted an afternoon tea and raffle in Maureen and John’s beautiful garden recently. Over 50 people attended for super service by a wonderful team.
According to Jill Parker, MBE & Chair of the JPK Project, “We are extremely grateful to Maureen and John for their continuing support. Our sincere thanks also go to Nicki for arranging match-funding of £500 from Legal & General, and to our helpers who also did so much to make it so successful. They include Jeannette Oakley, Jenny Vane, Lana Burnett, Sherry Buchanan, Sal Burdon and Elizabeth Ganly.”
The JPK Project has made much progress during the year. We have completed building work and opened the doors of our Community Training Centre to provide a welcoming tea room. We still have much to accomplish and fundraising continues as we look forward to training staff and working towards our goal of creating residential facilities on-site.
